Hussaina Salihu

Hussaina Salihu is a skilled educator and experienced business consultant with an unparalleled ability to drive transformative action. She is an accomplished mentor and has led several consultancy projects in entrepreneurial finance, project management, business concept development, leadership, management and character development. She has participated in development processes nationally and internationally and supported the planning and execution of programs for private and public sector clients.

She has worked as a Team Member, Adviser, Facilitator or Coordinator on several projects, including the National Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) Accreditation Programme, the Kaduna Startup Entrepreneurship Development Program (KadStep), the Youth Enterprise in Innovation in Nigeria (YOUWIN) Bootcamp for budding entrepreneurs, the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) retreat, and the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) management retreat, among others. 

She has two master’s degrees, one in accounting and the other in finance & accounts, in addition to a BSc in accounting. She has earned expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and enterprise support and development. She holds national and international certifications, including the European Business Competence License (EBCL) from Vienna, Austria, and the Business Edge Trainer Certification from the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
