Background

Prof. Seth Akutson, a Harvard Business School Trained Entrepreneurship Andragogue, former Vice Chancellor & Chartered Stockbroker/Investment Analyst [Nigeria & United Kingdom], holds a Ph.D. Degree in Economics & is a graduate of three leading Universities. He’s been the University Pioneer Head of Department, Dean of Faculty & Director of Entrepreneurship, and Head, Research & Training of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, Lagos. He’s been a Consultant and Board Member with several international organizations and leading private and public institutions worldwide; he is also a United Nations Volunteer. Prof. Akutson, a British Council Accredited Trainer & Panellist, has served as an Academic Pedagogue & Scholar, External Examiner, Guest Speaker & Professorial Assessor to more than twenty Universities in Africa, Asia, Europe and the USA. 

Prof. Akutson’s experience spans three decades, being a World Bank Advisor in the office of the Honourable Minister of Power; he’s a Policy Consultant with the German Government’s GiZ. He is a Facilitator of the Federal Government Enterprise program and a Business Clinic Diagnostics Provider with UKaid – The British People. Prof. Akutson is Faculty Member with leading Business Schools, including EDC – Lagos/Kaduna Business School, where he facilitates Venture Growth & IFC-World Bank modules. 

He’s a grant recipient of the United States Embassy Digital Marketing Modules for Universities and a Fellow of the Chartered Institutes of Management [FNIM], Marketing [FNIMN], Administration [FCIA], Education [FNIEPA], Consulting [FIMC], Capital Market [FCMA], Personnel Management [MCIPM], Certified Business Development Services Provider [BDSP], European Business Competence Licence [EBCL*], amongst several other distinguished honors & awards in the United States, Africa, Asia and Europe.
