Registrar Kaduna Business School’s Innovation Enterprise Institute
Background
Omagwu Ameh is the registrar at Kaduna Business School’s Innovation Enterprise Institute (IEI). He previously worked as a facilitator for Edu-consult Lagos. He currently coordinates and facilitates academic programmes at the Institute. He is also involved in developing the IEI curriculum and challenges his students to excel in their research projects and extracurricular activities. In 2014, Omagwu introduced Business Planning skills to his undergraduate students and a year later, in 2015, he added the Team-Building & Emotional Intelligence modules to the IEI curriculum.
Omagwu has also been involved in MSME development, having completed the Business Edge (BE) Train-the-Trainer course and the inaugural cohort of the National Business Development Service Provider (BDSP) Certification & Accreditation Programme. Since then, he has led several seminars for SME owners and managers using the BE training methodology.
He has coached and mentored YOUWIN grantees, reviewed business research reports for bank managers and trained senior MSME consultants on the associate BDSP certification & Accreditation programme.
Omagwu is a passionate researcher in Business, Education, Entrepreneurship and Philosophy. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Science Education from the Federal University of Agriculture Makurdi. He is a Business Edge trainer and a Licensed Business Development Service Provider (BDSP)
