PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Aimed at giving the youth additional options for acquisition of skills for employment and job creation.
The programme now in its fifth year, has successfully graduated nearly 500 young Nigerians who have either routed to further in Universities, polytechnics or have settled in to the banking sector to forge their career pathways. The innovation diploma policy has been very successful in stemming the twin challenge of under capacity of Universities to meet admission numbers and unemployment.
The recent education policy supporting the development of Innovation Enterprise Institutes (IEI) spurred KBS to begin the programme. The policy is also aimed at giving the youth additional options for acquisition of skills for employment and job creation. The programme passed the accreditation process of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). It is offered by the KBS Centre for Academic Excellence and Innovation. The programme is further boosted by the mandatory internship in any financial institution, creating possible career development opportunities.
Facility & Learning Atmosphere
Traditional training need analysis could be tedious, time consuming and imprecise. DACUM developing a curriculum is faster, cheaper and designed to deliver precise results. Its sister methodology SCID is then used to develop instructional materials. A key advantage of The DACUM- SCID method is that it brings clarity and focus to any job or subject removing any lingering doubts as to priorities.

Apart from academic achievement, this innovative program has significantly contributed to human capacity development and also set a pace for rapid investment in technology and business for the country if given a maximum support from private sectors and individuals.
