Dr. John Nma Aliu is an academic and practitioner renowned for his expertise in Banking and Finance, microfinance and entrepreneurship. His ability to seamlessly integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications has fostered innovation and sustainable practices in financial management.
Dr. Aliu’s philosophy is rooted in the belief that education is a critical catalyst for economic development. He is dedicated to empowering students and communities through teaching and research, with a strong emphasis on financial literacy and accountability. His leadership of the Kaduna Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Team (ENACTUS) to national victories underscores his commitment to practical education and student mentorship.
Throughout his career, Dr. Aliu has held key positions, including Principal Lecturer and Senior Lecturer, and has played a crucial role in various committees and leadership positions. His contributions include chairing committees focused on academic excellence, budget coordination, and infrastructure planning, as well as serving as President of the CABS Cooperative Investment and Credit Society. His work has significantly influenced the governance and development of Kaduna Polytechnic.
Currently, Dr. Aliu is a Chief Lecturer at CBMS Kaduna Polytechnic, where he has made substantial contributions to curriculum development and student engagement. He also serves as a senior faculty member at KBS Monotechnic, where he continues to guide and mentor students.
Dr. Aliu holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship with a specialization in Microfinance Banking, highlighting his dedication to lifelong learning and academic excellence
